Full walkthrough of the Blyde quest in the Elden Ring: How to get the Wolf Armor Set

While exploring the Misty Forest in Elden Ring you will hear howling, which is associated with a rather complicated side quest. This quest is related to Blyde, and you may be unclear exactly how to see him and begin the quest. Shedding light on this question is the purpose of this guide, and below you’ll find a complete walkthrough of the Blide side quest in Elden Ring.

A complete walkthrough of Blide’s quest

Howling in the Misty Forest

After hearing the howl in the Misty Forest, you should go to the temple of Elle and talk to the merchant of Kale. You should then choose the dialogue option”About the howls in the Misty Forest” to get the”Snap Fingers” gesture. After learning this gesture, players must return to the ruins in the Misty Forest, wait for the howling, and use the”Snap Fingers” gesture to make Blyde appear near the northern entrance to the ruins.

Find Darryville

In a preliminary conversation with Blyde, he will tell you that he is looking for a”traitor” named Darryville. This NPC can be found inside the Lone Seeker’s Hive, which is near the Sacrificial Bridge leading south out of the Graveyard, and players can summon the half-traitor to battle if they wish. After you defeat the Darrivil bloodhound knight, you should talk to Blyde near the dungeon until he tells them about the blacksmith who is north of Raya Lucaria.

Find the master blacksmith Iji

The blacksmith that Blyde mentions is named Iji, and you can find him near the Road to the Manor, which is just northwest of Raya Lucaria Academy. As you walk through the ruins, you will encounter a wall that seems to block your way to Iji. However, the wall blocking the passage on the north side of the ruins is illusory, and you must strike it in order to pass.

Players must talk to Iji until the”I was sent by Blyde” dialog box appears. Selecting this option will add a Karian Filigree Emblem to the merchant’s inventory, which reduces the amount of mana expended when using sorcery. Notably, this is the end of Blyde’s side quest, although it will be continued as part of another quest, which we will now detail.

Talk to Ranney

After defeating Rennala and clearing the Caria Manor in the northwest corner of Liornia, players must go to Ranni’s tower. This location is just west of Kariya’s manor, and players must talk to Ranni at the top of the tower and decide to serve her. Players must then talk to the NPCs at the bottom of the tower, one of whom is Blyde, and return to Ranni to get permission to leave her domain.

Find Blyde in the River Source of Seofra

Players must now seek out Blyde in the River Spring of Cyophras, and the elevator leading to this underground location is just northeast of the Little Tree of Erd near the Misty Forest. As for Blyde’s location in the River Spring of Cyophras, he stands on the edge of a cliff near a spiritual spring, and the location is marked on the map above. The halfwolf will now instruct the fans to talk to Seluvis, who can be found in the Seluvis Tower southeast of the Ranni Tower.

Talk to Seluvis, Sellena, and Blyde

Talk to Seluvis when you arrive at Seluvis Tower, and he will send them on a quest to find Selena. This character can be found under the Settlement Ruins, which are west of the Misty Forest, and after talking to her, players should return to Blade in the River Spring of Seofre.

Go to the Castle of the Redhead

At this point, you should head to Red Mane’s castle in the southeast corner of the Star Wastes, where you will find Blyde again before the battle with Radan. At the end of the battle, you can talk to Blyde to advance further along the quest line. It should be noted that if you kill Radan before the Blide side quest begins, you should find a message from him in the Tuman Forest Ruins.

Complete Ranney’s quest.

Now fully complete Ranni’s quest in the Elden Ring. This is quite a difficult quest that requires visiting a lot of hidden locations, and fans who are stuck on this quest can refer to the guide, which describes it in great detail.

Go back to Ranney Tower and kill Blyde

After completing Ranney’s quest, you must return to Ranney Tower and face the hostile Blyde. This is the final part of this character’s quest line, and defeating him will give you the King’s Sword and Blyde’s armor set in the Elden Ring. You can also find the Black Wolf’s mask on the wall in the Seluvis Tower if you wish.
