Guide on Nilah in League of Legends: runes, building, tips

Guides

League of Legends has a new champion shooter named Nyla. The girl knows the magic of water and is not shy about using it to destroy opponents. Her waves are very dangerous! In this guide we’ll figure out how to play as Nyla, what items to buy and how to determine the runes.

Neela’s abilities

Infinite Delight [passive skill].

Neela enhances skills that heal and give shields. If an ally heals Nyla or puts a shield on her, she is also healed or given a shield. If a friendly champion nearby applies these effects to himself, they apply to Nyla as well. When Nyla finishes an enemy minion, she and the nearest allied champion gain their normal amount of experience plus half the experience they would have lost due to being nearby.

Near Nyla, absolutely everyone is high on experience, especially the snappers. Thanks to her passive skill, the water mage gets more profits from shields and healing, which makes standing on the line much easier. And yes, it’s important for Neela to get up to speed right from the start, because the second part of the passive skill (which gives experience) will help her gain a significant advantage from the first minutes of the match.

Whiplash Blade [Q].

Active: Neela whips her whips in a straight line, dealing damage to all enemies in front of her. If she hits an enemy, her range and attack speed increase briefly. In addition, her auto-attacks start hitting enemies in the cone, dealing extra damage.

Passive: when Nyla deals damage to champions with her autoattacks and skills, she partially ignores the target’s armor and regenerates her health depending on the amount of damage. This effect is scaled by the chance of a critical hit. All of Neela’s excess healing turns into a shield.

Seems like a very simple ability, but it gives a lot of usefulness! Bonus damage and attack radius, ignoring armor, AOE damage with a big enough hitbox – a dream, not an ability. A separate perk of the skill is the very low kuldown. Neela can whip water every 4 seconds, so you can stress the enemy shooter regularly and painfully.

Cover of Joy [W].

Neela shrouds herself in fog, briefly speeding up. While the effect is in effect, she takes less magical damage and is not hit by auto-attacks. When she touches an allied champion, Nyla shrouds him in mist as well, but the duration of the effect on her partner is reduced by half.

Another very cool ability that can help Neela on the line, in team battles, and in duels with particularly dangerous opponents. For example, you can zadogit Twisted Feith’s stan, or save an ally from a dangerous attack. Always try to touch as many teammates as possible during the battle to maximize the skill’s effect.

Dive [E].

Neela dash through the selected fighter, moving a fixed distance and dealing damage to all affected enemies. Nirk can accumulate up to 2 charges. During the dive, you can use a Whiplash Blade, causing a wave. After a short delay Neela deals damage and enhances auto-attacks with [Q] effect.

Good positioning is the key to success when playing as Neela, and dash is very useful. You can use it on enemies and allies alike. With it, the wizard can easily change her position in the battle or quickly catch up with her fleeing opponent. Don’t forget to combine desh with the first ability to fly up to the enemy with already boosted auto-attacks.

Apotheosis [R].

Neela makes a circular whiplash strike and pulls the defeated foes toward her. Apotheosis restores Neela’s health depending on the damage dealt – all excess healing is turned into a shield. The effect extends to nearby allies and scales with the chance of a critical hit.

Neela’s final chord makes her very dangerous in teamfights, as her skill radius is high enough to draw all the enemies to a single point. And then you can make a cool wombo combo and frustrate the enemy team.

Runes to the Nile

Because of the water whip’s low cooldown and emphasis on auto-attacks, Conqueror would be a great choice for Neela. In the extra branch it is better to focus on defense and cure bonuses. We remember that Neela always gets boosted versions of shields and healing, right? Now you can ramp that up, and there are several options.”Sprawl” is easily changed to”Revive” or”Undaunted” if enemies have a lot of control.

Assemblies on Nyla

Neela prefers standard shooter items, no surprises here. As a mythic item, Crossbow of Immortality is the best choice, since Neela likes to heal from everything. After the first purchase, it’s worth emphasizing on crits to boost the first skill and passive from it – they get stronger as the chance of a critical hit increases.

The order in which Neela’s skills are pumped

Here, too, everything is very simple: pump Q first for damage, then develop a jerk, and already at the very end of throwing points to W. And take the stunner at every opportunity.
