What’s Chat with Voice?
Roblox now offers chat with spatial voice beta, a feature that allows users to talk in Roblox just as easily as in real life.
Today developers can integrate this technology within their experience.
You can sign up to this feature by going to your Settings page. This will allow them to chat with spatial voices in Roblox.
How can I make Chat with Voice possible?
To enable the chat with spatial voice feature, follow the instructions below:
- Go to Account Settings
- Complete Age Verification
- Please select the Privacy Tab
- You can toggle the Voice Chat Selector ON
- When voice chat is enabled, the toggle will change to grey.
Roblox or our Customer Support staff cannot accommodate requests to add users.
Eligible users are encouraged to enjoy this new and exciting way to communicate on Roblox, but must also continue to adhere to the Terms of Use and Community Standards as they would within any Roblox experience. Users that violate these rules may be suspended or removed from chat with spatial voice and have further moderation actions taken against their Roblox account. Roblox also reserves the right to remove users from the chat with spatial voice at any time at our discretion.
What is the best way to tell who chats with Voice?
An icon for microphone will be displayed next to user names and over avatars of voice-chat enabled users. Other users will not be able see who has spatial chat enabled or not.
How to Report, Mute or Block Chat With Voice
Muting another user’s voice chat
You can mute another user in a chat with spatial voice experience by clicking the microphone icon that will appear over their avatar’s head. You can only use mutes in voice chat, and not text chat. They will last only while you’re in the experience session.
Blocking another user

Can I disable Chat With Voice?
To disable the chat with spatial voice feature, follow the instructions below:
- Go to Account Settings
- Please select the Privacy Tab
- You can toggle the Voice Chat Selector Off
- You will see the toggle change from green-gray to indicate that voice chat has been removed for you account.
- To turn voice chat back on while in chat with spatial voices, you can switch it on anytime.
Roblox: How can I check my age
Although it may seem like a complicated process to verify age on Roblox, it is really quite simple. However, if you’re unfamiliar with it, just follow the steps listed below:
- Sign in to your Roblox Account
- Please click the Configurations Icon Located in Upper-right Corner The page.
- Please click the Information about your account tab.
- Underneath your birthday, click the button that says “Verify My Age“.
- Popup Your PC will flash a notification that it is available QR code.
- Use this QR code to scan your mobile device.
- You’ll then be directed to “roblox.com/verify” where you need to start with the age verification process.
- Please click the Begin Session Option and then follow the directions as given. Remember that it is necessary to Allow the camera to access This step is important.
- Scanning your Identification document. Take a scan of any barcodes on your ID and take a picture of it.
