How to quickly level up in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds and increase your strength

Guides

The first 35 levels the game will lead you by the hand and you can not even think about pumping. You’ll be doing quests, killing mobs and earning rewards at the same time. But at one point you’ll notice that the quests have become more difficult, and the threshold of entry (TC) has increased markedly. Then you’ll start spending all the resources to gain some extra points. You shouldn’t do this, and it’s enough for a couple of levels at most. After that you’ll hit the wall and don’t know what to do.

And here begins the most interesting part. You need to understand that in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds you can’t gain a lot of experience without stopping. At some points you’ll have to pick up crumbs and just wait.

During the day you have several effective ways to gain experience, which quickly dry up – daily errands (main experience stream), store in your own kingdom (cute girl sells experience tokens) and… everything. Additionally, you can farm ticket scraps for additional daily errands and exchange them for whole tickets in the store. This will give you a couple more experience errands. The scraps fall off of mobs, in random order.

Once you’ve completed your errands and bought experience in the store, the only thing left for you to do is go into Trial, then into the Field of Chaos, and into the Ancient Ruins. There are an infinite number of mobs there. Choose the ones that can’t kill you. Purchase at least a thousand health jars in advance in the store (they’re cheap, you won’t lose much). Then stay there, turn on the autoboy and go rest/sleep.

If turning on the computer bothers someone, do it on your smartphone/tablet, plugging them into a charger (the game drains the battery quickly). For 8 hours of farming you can steadily increase one level. Which means you’ll have access to the next story quests.

That’s how, doing quests (including reputational), passing dailies, buying experience in your own kingdom and leaving the character to farm at night, you’ll slowly but surely gain level after level.

We also advise you to collect rewards from chests and viewpoints – in this guide we showed you where to find them in Heartland.
