How to Save Dylan in The Quarry – How Not to Let Dylan Die

Guides

Dylan’s first encounter with mortal danger is when he returns to the radio operator’s cabin. He goes there with Ryan, hoping to call for help over the radio. There are several possible developments here. While Dylan is in the cabin, a werewolf will get to him – it will jump on the roof and start making noise. At this point, Nick, Abi and Caitlin will walk toward Dylan, unaware of the danger that awaits them. Dylan and Ryan can use the speakerphone to warn the guys, but that will get the werewolf’s attention.

Next, it’s up to your decisions. The best option is to break into the cabin, as Abi and Emma will do. There the guys will hide from the werewolf and he will continue to look for Dylan and Ryan. Dylan will need to fix the radio by running a cable down from the ceiling. As soon as Dylan tries to get the cable down, the werewolf will attack him – bite his hand and practically kill him. At this point, make the decision to shoot his arm off with a shotgun. Yes, the character will suffer greatly. But he will survive.

The next danger awaits Dylan at the scrap metal dump, where he will find himself together with Caitlin. The characters will try to find a working machine and discover a car that is attached to a crane. Being technically savvy, Dylan will begin to operate the crane to lower the car. At this point, the character will notice that the motion sensors have started flashing, which means that someone is approaching.

The order of action here is as follows. First, lower the car and let Caitlin get in it. After that, raise the car up. The werewolf will jump on it – start spinning the crane to take the werewolf down. Caitlin will fall out, but will land on the relatively soft tires and stay in one piece. The werewolf will start running towards her – time it right and drop the car on it. The monster will press against the ground and become safe for a while.

That’s all you have to do to keep Dylan alive and make it to the finale of The Quarry.
