How to get energy drinks in Stray – what are they for

Guides

We tell you where to find and how to get energy drinks in Stray, and explain what they are for.

There are so many different items in Stray, but not all of them are in obvious places. It’s also not always clear what a particular item is for. For example, you may pass the plot and not even know that there are energy drinks in the game’s world. And you certainly won’t know what they do. Let’s tell you right away – no, they are not necessary for getting additional energy. Intrigued? Then read on.

How to get energy drinks in Stray

Energy drinks are only available in Stray. So if you go further in the story, you won’t be able to get them anymore.

There are a total of three energy drinks in the game – you have to interact with the vending machines to get them. These vending machines are located in three different locations:

  • Opposite Morusk.
  • In the depths of the slums, where there is graffiti of R.I.P. Humans on the wall.
  • Next to Doc’s apartment on the roof.

You can find other vending machines, but they won’t have energy drinks.

How to use energy in Stray – what are they for?

Sure, it would be fun to drink an energy drink and run twice as fast or jump much higher. But the developers have come up with a different purpose for these drinks. You’ll be able to give them to Azuzu’s vendor in exchange for merchandise that will come in handy during further passing:

  • Notes – for these you’ll have to give one energizer.
  • A picture of a B-12 memory costs three energies.

No, we’re not wrong. The picture costs exactly three energies, so you’ll have to make a choice – do you want to get the notes or the picture, without which you can’t unlock the”I Remember!” achievement.
