Peter Molyneux, renowned for his work on iconic series such as Dungeon Keeper, Black & White, and Fable, is making a comeback to the gaming industry. At Gamescom 2024, he announced his latest project, Masters of Albion.
Masters of Albion offers a new perspective on the largely forgotten god simulator genre. Players will develop a settlement, meet the needs of warring factions, and expand their influence. However, the game adds a twist: at night, players must fend off zombies and other supernatural threats. Additionally, the deity can possess any character, allowing players to take direct control.
The game is being developed by a small team of 20 people, including veterans who have previously worked with Molyneux on past projects. This experienced group is dedicated to bringing a unique and engaging experience to players.
While Masters of Albion does not yet have a release date, it already has a page on Steam. Fans of Molyneux’s previous works and those interested in innovative gameplay can look forward to more information as development progresses.
