The developers have shared a small teaser of the Genshin Impact 3.0 update. We saw Dendro’s element in action and learned about its reactions. We were also shown something else interesting – read on and find out!
Sumeru in Genshin Impact 3.0 – Dendro element and reactions
In Genshin Impact 3.0 with the introduction of the Dendro element, we’ll see three types of reactions – burning, catalyst and budding.
Burning will be applied when combining Dendro and Pyro elements – the damage will be long lasting and quite high. Compared to normal Pyro burning, Dendro burning will be more effective.
Budding will be superimposed when Hydro and Dendro interact. A bud will appear at the reaction site and can be interacted with. Igniting it with Pyro will cause an explosion. And the Electro-Spark will make the bud release a spark that will fly and damage one opponent.
The Catalyst will work through Dendro and Electro elements – green lightning will appear on the enemy, which will do a lot of damage for a certain amount of time.
Plums of Sumeru in Genshin Impact 3.0
In Sumeru, we will be able to interact with unusual mushrooms.
By using the Hydro-stichia on it, we will summon a budgie, the purpose of which remains a secret for now. The Pyro-stich will make the mushroom wither. And the electro-spirit will allow it to glow. And with Dendro it will be possible to restore the mushroom from a dry state. Judging by the developers’ preview, with the help of this plant we’ll be able to jump high. Other abilities of the fungus are still unknown.
We will also encounter a new mob – a flying mushroom or its likeness, with a large hat and a round head, without a torso.
His behavior in combat will depend on the elements. Attacking him with Pyro will slow down his blows. Electro, on the other hand, will make the mushroom attack faster. Also, it seems that the selected element determines the chance to drop certain rare resources.
As for the Dendro Traveler, it will be able to release dendro waves and put a big bud on the battlefield – all of them will deal damage, immediately or gradually.
