The Quarry – how many chapters and hours

Guides

If you’re familiar with other Supermassive Games hits like Until Dawn or Man of Medan Anthology, you should know that these interactive movies only seem short. In fact, they offer a huge number of playthroughs and multiple endings.

How Many Endings in The Quarry

Well, compared to previous Supermassive Games games, The Quarry is much longer. The developers told us before the release that each character has about 10-12 opportunities to die and their activation will depend on the decisions made. As a result, decisions can lead to one of 186 endings (although the main ones are certainly smaller).

The Quarry walkthrough

Let’s say you’ve made it through the story, spending 10 hours on it. What’s next? By taking advantage of the guides or agreeing to experiment, you can replay the game several more times, making different decisions and reaching other endings. If you want, you can save your favorite characters and kill unloved ones.

The rewinding mechanism that opens after the first playthrough adds flexibility and allows you to change decisions on the fly without having to rewind chapters. You will also be able to solve puzzles, collect tarot cards and unlock other secrets of The Quarry’s world.

And that’s not the only thing. With time the developers will add the multiplayer component to the game. It means you will be able to make decisions jointly with your friends, that will refresh the gaming experience. Be sure to try this mode when it appears (maybe it already has).

How many chapters in The Quarry and how to unlock chapter selections

As for the number of chapters, The Quarry has 10 + an epilogue. You’ll be able to unlock the chapter selections after the first playthrough. But keep in mind that you won’t be able to jump between chapters by starting the game all over again. You’ll have to go through chapter by chapter to see the result of your choices. Also, your progress on collecting collectibles and other secrets will be reset and you will have to start all over again. Keep this in mind.
